Terms and Conditions
Version Oct 2025This is the base T&Cs before any modifications, agreed upon before starting any work.⭐⭐⭐Commission Fee Payment:
- Half of the agreed total to be paid before work starts.
- Remaining amount to be paid within 1 month after approving final preview.
- You may also choose to pay the full fee up front if you wish.⭐⭐⭐Expected Timeline:1. Commission requested, the more details and visuals references you provide, the more likely I will be able to accept it, and the less likely you will need to ask for revisions later.2. Commission accepted, you and I are happy with the details of what you want and how you want the files, and I send a payment request.3. Payment received, work scheduled for an agreed work period (eg. 1 week).4. Previews of progress updates will be sent to you during the work period after commission is started. This is dependent on the work, but at minimum includes an initial sketch or outline to indicate that work has started.5. Revisions as requested. See Fees and Delays section for more details.6. Final preview of completed commission sent for approval via preferred comms (eg. email, twitter, discord).7. Payment request will be sent after approval, to be paid within 1 month.8. Completed commission delivered on successful receipt of final payment, including agreed files, provided in a drive link or other preferred formats.⭐⭐⭐Rights:For you, the commissioner:
- Non-commercial use (profile pics, emotes, edits/derivative works) is ok.
- Limited commercial use (streams, thumbnails, banners) is also ok.
- You do not need to provide credit for the work, but it would be much appreciated!For me:
- I retain the copyright for the commissioned work. Any depicted content that belongs to you (such as original characters) will remain yours and will be credited as such where possible!
- I reserve the right to reproduce the work, such as for promotional material, posting to social media, and online portfolios. If you don't want the work publicly, let me know beforehand.These terms cover mainly non-commercial work, but ask if you want commercial use (eg. merchandise) we can figure something out!⭐⭐⭐Fees and Delays:Previews will be provided at each major stage of the work.
- Sketch stage - this is where composition and pose is decided.
- Colour stage - this is where colours and texturing are decided.
- Render stage - this is the final stage where effects such as lighting are applied.One (1) revision process is where, after I provide previews of the work, you request a round of changes to the preview.
You can request as many changes as you want up to 24 hours after I respond to the first request. This is to give you time to provide feedback and allow me the time to fine tune what you want.
I reserve the right to extend the work period by a week for each revision process as needed, as well as charge an additional revision process if the request requires revisiting a previous stage of already decided work.Three (3) revisions are provided free of charge in total for all stages combined, after which an additional charge of 20% of the original commission fee will added included in the final payment for each additional revision.Late payment fee: An additional charge of 10% of the original fee will be added if the final approved payment is not made within 1 month.Cancellation by me: In the event that I need to cancel the commission, I will refund the full price + fees, and provide digital material for the commission in its current state.Cancellation by you: If you need to cancel the commission, you can get a full refund if I have not yet started the work. If work has already started, the initial deposit is non-refundable, but the remaining fees will be refunded/waived. I will provide digital material for the commission in its current state upon reasonable request.No response from you: If I do not receive any response back from you 3 months after the end of the agreed work period, I will consider the commission cancelled by you.Shipping (where applicable): Physical goods will be shipped from the UK via either Evri or Royal Mail, and the shipping fee will be paid separately from the commission fee. Delivery method can be changed on request, or when existing services cannot provide shipping.
